NJ33A Neonate's Jaundice Tester (intelligent type) is applied to test the transcutaneous bilirubin related with serum bilirubin for newborn infants and babies. It is an infection-free, no blood-drawing, and painless instrument for medical checks and tests.
The tester has adopted optical fiber, photo-electric, electronic, and data-processor techniques. By gently putting its probe on newborn infant's forehead skin, the transcutaneous bilirubin value related with serum bilirubin can be instantaneously and accurately tested. The concentration value of serum bilirubin after being conversed can be directly indicated. The tester is non-invasive, compact, light, and easy to operate, which is widely applied in the neonate, pediatrics, and child-care departments in all levels of hospitals.
The tester has a liquid crystal display and is equipped with rechargeable batteries. It is light, convenient, and safe in operating.
